So much to do - so little time!!

The last week or two have been hectic, but filled with fun things, as well as work and admin stuff for Brownies.

We had a SAR fund raising meeting - so good to meet with such lovely people, some for the first time like Gill and James but also older friends Ban, Tinashe, Duncan, Kim, Kate, Lydia and Amanda.

It was also the week when 2 of my worlds collided (in a good way!)
Travelling  Kindness Pattern Club members donated £50 to SAR buy donating $1 from each pattern sold! Happy happy happy!

At the weekend we departed for Manchester, leaving Amy in charge of helping Janet at her sale!
I am led to believe that she did a totally awesome job, so now she has a job for life!

Left this little guy at the service station!

Gonna leave this one at the game!

So Trump has been inaugurated as President of America, while women of the world march for their basic human rights and against misogny

misogyny
mɪˈsɒdʒ(ə)ni/
noun
  1. dislike of, contempt for, or ingrained prejudice against women.
"she felt she was struggling against thinly disguised misogyny"

While the women of the world do that, the men of the world scream at their teams and call the referee a f&^%$ng w*&%$£er!

Women are from Venus and Men are from Mars!!

It was fun and it great to spend uninterrupted time with my boys!

This is the pebble that I left at the game in the end.

James wearing Simons glasses and rocking it!

We spent a lovely evening with Simon and Christine, sipping wine, eating curry and generally putting the world to rights. Looking forward to the party in April!

These were taken on the way home - a good reminder that we live on a beautiful planet, that we are lucky that we all woke up to see another beautiful day.

Poor Nancy is in the wars - she fell at Brians grave and badly broke her arm. She has been in hospital for over a week now, but is making good progress. Chatty and cheerful yesterday. (this was last Sunday)

It was back to work again and decided to cycle - ended up a bit too sweaty!
I had this leg better before I left - that what smoking does I'm afraid :-(

I missed this exhibition, but Amy said it was good - you could buy prints of the original from a slot machine.

Pebbles have been hidden around and Amy is enjoying her new hobby! The student excels the master!!

The weight loss continues, slowly but surely!
Down from 100kg and skiing stuff definitely fitted better yesterday - still snug but better!

And every day, Damian brings me a hot drink in the morning - I love that man <3
